Inspirations and elements of style…
by hugoparis
Gentlemen,
Here are two very beautiful sartorial compositions found on the gorgeous commercial website Mr Porter.
Of these two objectively very well done outfits, we have identified what we believe truly makes the style difference.
The idea here is to focus your attention on two different approaches. On the first outfit, it is undoubtedly the accessories that add a real style value. On the second, it is the central pieces (especially the jacket, absolutely dazzling) that give the ensemble its sharp visual edge.
Analysis:
This very beautiful composition (albeit rather discreet) is highlighted by three so-called “accessory” elements that bring its undeniable hold: the necktie, the tie clip and the pocket square.
Gorgeous necktie with three wide stripes of three different colors (white, grey and navy blue). J. Crew (€47)
Silver tie clip. Ralph Lauren ( € 294)
Silk pocket square with three overlaid patterns. Paul Smith (€33)
The second composition, absolutely beautiful, is based on a magnificent Donegal tweed jacket complimented with a classic Turnbull and Asser shirt and a superb Charvet necktie.
Magnificent brown Donegal tweed jacket with orange bird’s eye pattern. Burberry Prorsum (€830)
Sky blue herringbone Turnbull and Asser shirt with three mother of pearl buttons barrel cuff (€223)
Red geometric necktie with blue edge by Charvet (€150)
Cheers, HUGO

Wonderful, Hugo, but the ties from Turnbull and Asser are also a recommendation …;-)
